About the show

The Israeli premiere of a new stage adaptation by Aya Kaplan ("A Tale of Love and Darkness") of the wonderful novel by Eli Amir.

1950s Israel. Sixteen-year-old Nuri, who was born in Baghdad, is sent alone by his father to Jerusalem in order to secure an apartment for his family. Earning his living by delivering newspapers on his bicycle and running errands for the prime minister's office, he tries to fit into the new country while dreaming of a different life. 

*The show includes a scene that takes place in darkness and represents an attempt at sexual violence

Running time: about 90 minutes, no intermission
