About the show

It is the year 1593 and London is in the throes of a plague.

After two years in isolation, William Shakespeare stages Romeo and Juliet. The plague has a fateful part in the play.

In the year 2020 Jerusalem is struggling with the Corona plague.

So if the theatre hall is forced to close, out to the squares The Khan Theatre goes, bringing to you, out in the open air, the same two lovers – Romeo and Juliet but slightly different.

Just like the roaming theatre groups of the past we are transferring the art of theatre to a miniature version of the play with four of our stars under the lighting of the night stars with a unique and magical production
