| Synopsis
| After
countless financial flops, the administrative
director of the theatre and his staff decide that
it is time for a hit, a play that will bring money
and popularity to the impoverished theatre.
After taking an audience poll, they conclude that
their hit must be something relevant to the lives
of their audience. Something theatergoers will
love – in other words – a musical about Israel.
The play focuses on a young girl from Moscow who
comes to the Holy Land to save the father who
abandoned her as an infant. She knows that he
once lived at a certain address in Israel and
that he is about to be killed. She has one week
to track him down.
The impossible reality in Israel constantly clashes
with the theatre’s aspiration to create a hit.
Theatre and reality mix and culminate in a surprise
ending.
